looking at this guy i feel no spark at all. If Chilam plays this role, it would be whole lot better. the prospect of seeing this guy getting cozy with girls makes my skin crawled. i don't want to use the word 'ugly' 'cause it'd be too strong but there is no other way to describe it. Jesaphaomaega!!! are we running out of actors already, so as to choose this guy ?

not just ordinary.. but UGLY!! i'm sorry to richie fans in here... but after seeing his awful performance in Return of the Condor Heros... i felt sick.. the only reason why i went to watch Smiling Proud Wanderer is because Anita is in it... but Richie messed it up SOOOOO bad that not even Anita could save the show....

Have you read any of the past posts in this forum? There is some stuff about the marriage and how it was called off. Most of the stuff the media put out about their marriage seems to be just rumors, as Anita had already said that she AND Chilam decided to wait. In my opinion, I don't think he meant to just call of the marriage like that. I think it was a mutual decision, as they both have busy schedules...but it is very sweet that they find time to call each other so often.

he is indeed a very friendly and nice guy, many people who have met him before can testify that... that is also probably why anita is so much in love with him, so you shouldn't say chilam is a bad man if you don't even know anything. if he is a bad person, anita would have left him long ago. moreover, the decision not to marry is made by both of them... you need 2 hands to clap right? and chilam probably have discussed it very thoroughly with her before they decided to cancel the marriage.

I just can not wait to watch Anita's acting again. But, the Chor Lau Hueng is scheduled to be on TV around August. Sigh.......And, I am pretty sure that I am going to watch the first 5 episodes only (Anita!yeah!). cccccc.......

Anita Yuen took off to Beijing yesterday for gueststaring in Chor Lau Heung. Rumor has it that she will be paid over 70K per episode, for a total of 5 episodes. Anita says the actual payment is higher than that. But she refuses to say how much. Anita is very happy that she gets to work with Richie again. She also mentioned that this time seeing Richie, she is going to make him invite her out to dinner, because last time when filming Swordsmen, Richie gave her a chair as a present, but the chair broke down in two weeks, so he owes her at least a dinner

When I first knew that Anita is involved in the filming of Chor Lau Heung, I feel extemely joyful and excited. But, after I found out from the news that she is only a guest participant, I feel a little bit disheartened. What's more, GIGI is going to be the lead female artist in the series. Oh man, I don't think I'll watch the series.

Don't you think it is weird from seeing Anita as a main female lead to only a guest starred (sort of like a supporting actress in there), why she can't a little longer in the serie, like from the beginng to the end. This time, we could see a totally different type of performance. By the sound of it, she will be a hilarious character. We probably saw a similar version in cutegirl, where she was a "fung so lo baan leung" (ditsy waitress/hostess). She was so funny in it.

Richie's new TV series Chor Lau Heung will be 40 chapters long. Director Wong Jing has decided to do the superstar approach, inviting many stars to play in the show. Besides Richie being the main character, there will also be Gigi Lai (So Yung Yung), Ruby Lin, Carina Lau (Water Palace Leader), Anita Yuen, Angie Cheung (Stone Kwan Yin), Ekin Cheng, Daniel Chan, and Yeung Kung Yu.

Dicky (middle) and Anita (right) are strange and funky dudes, if they work together, they could definitely cooperate well and create sparks.
The TV serial, Absurd Detective, starring Anita and Dicky Cheung, is filmed in Guangzhou. During the Spring Festival, the producer company specially scheduled several days of holiday, allowing the crew to visit their families and friends.
Anita is happy that she could stay in Hong Kong to welcome the Year of the Snake with Chilam. In one of the interviews on the phone, she said, "Last year, I spent the majority of the time in Mainland China filming. Finally, there is some free time to spend with my family and my boy friend, of course I'm happy!"
Dicky Cheung is Funny and Humorous
In response to her cooperation with Dicky, Anita expressed that he and she became best friends. Even during the holiday, they blessed each other on the phone. Anita smiled and said, "While filming with Dicky, oftentimes I was moved by his humor, that's why I really like working with him."

Here's what was said:
Firstly, Anita made a clarification that she and Chilam did not marry in Las Vegas. In fact, the paparazzi followed them all the way there, and they knew about it. There was even a reporter who called her, and asked them where they were...Anita likes Las Vegas. She commented that it is very luxurious.
Then they went on to discuss the FAE, or Anita's project in Japan. (Anita just arrived back in time for the interview) Anita said that it's for her project. She talked about her friendship and cooperation with Charlie Yeung, and how she treasures this friendship. "She's not just pretty, loveable and cute, Charlie's also generous and loving!" In the interview, she recalled some moments when they encountered problems establishing the company. Eventually, they got through fine.
Of all the places she went to, she likes Singapore most. Before working there, she thought that Singapore is a boring place, with no 'night life', but soon she found out it's no longer the way it was. Hoi Kei commented that Charlie sent Anita to do the travelling and filming was to be practical.
Later, they talked about changing attitudes in life, whether her attitudes changed throughout the years. In certain things, Anita has changed, and in others, it kept the same. (I'm sorry, the radio was quite fuzzy, so I constantly had to stop it, or it constantly had to rebuff. Couldn't quite catch this part).
There were several people who called in. One of them talked about the Silk Road, and how it's worth a trip there. Another talked about drinking some exotic drink in Thailand, and wondered if Anita tried it. Anita said she didn't try it, because she had a duty to work so she didn't want to risk eating or drinking things that may get her sick. The third person is more interesting, he was one of Anita's colleagues before she became Miss Hong Kong. They worked in Hung Ham (pronounced Hum) a long time ago, and Anita was an office worker back then. He said he never thought that Anita would win because he never thought that she was that pretty. Thus, when she won eventually, he was really surprised. In the sporting events organized by the company, Anita was very active and lively. The fourth one who dialed in was one who felt bored and switched stations and happened to hear the interview. She said she couldn't sleep because her husband is away...NEways, she asked lenlen questions about friendship, whether she has many friends (I think this is the one who asked it. Maybe it was a different one.) Anita said that one doesn't need to have many friends, as long as they're trustworthy, true friends. She is willing to be friends with her fans, though, but only if they are considerate, kinda like those who would look far away instead of coming over to disturb their date, or writes letters that do not have a return address on it. Another person who dialed-in was in the same grade of Anita in Elementary school. She's not sure, though, and there were no yearbooks back then to make sure. Ng Wing Mei was another student from the school.

The hair might have been long, but I think they might have used extensions in order to give Anita more volume in the back. Question: In Mulan, was her hair actually that long? In my opinion, I like Anita with short haircuts.

i like both types of hair cut, but i don't like the semi-short ones. i like the short haired style because it makes her look more agile and lively. However, the long haired style makes her lovely. actually, i do like the short haired one more (because i like lively characters. no offense.)

Are you talking about the Anita Yuen E-Groups list? Yeah, I got that, too, but I don't think it's her. Unless she talks in third person. =) It's probably just a fan using her name. I don't think the person meant for people to think it was really Anita, though.

If it is a joke by a third person, I don't see the gain of doing it. We're saying stuff to Anita, and the message will remain in the egroup messages area. Even if it's another person, the message is still there for Anita to read if she ever comes to the site. For me, it doesn't matter.

Ha...She just came back (last saturday) from U.S to Hong Kong with her boyfriend Chi Lam and now celebrating Valentine Day with Chi Lam in Hong Kong.She will be going to Korea and Japan to do some programme. She will start her drama filming in mid-March.

There are 2 drama series that she might film, to what I guess. There are "Yang Men Nui Jiang" and "Bai She Juan". In the former, she will play the role as "Yang Pa Mei" while in the latter, she will play the role as "Bai She". As I don't know the English translation of the name of the drama series, I can only tell you its literal chinese translation in Roman words.

No offense you guys, but Fann Wong is not even pretty. I heard so much hype about how pretty she is, how cute she is, how beautiful she is (you get the picture)...and so one day I decided to go check her out. I went to several sites on the net and saw many of her pictures (in many variety) but there was not one single one that I found attractive... So why the hype about Fann Wong anyway?? I even saw her in Return of Condor Heroes, and OMG, she did not even fit the role as Xiao Long Nui at all! For those of you who still stand strong in your support for Fann Wong, all I can say is until you can convince me that she really is all that (maybe even live up to the hype), there will be one less Fann Wong in this world (hehe, not that that's a big deal)...

NEways, here's the summary:
Anita went to Singapore to film a show that introduces Singapore's food, leisure, and night life (is this the appropriate English term? I'm sorry, I'm applying Chinglish here as well.) This is one of the projects by FAE. I believe that this will be part of the Whazzzup project. Singapore is the third place their company chose for the project. (Anita will be leaving for Japan and Korea on the 15th, right after Valentine's Day.)
They hired Au Ching Sin as MC/host of the Singapore edition.
Anita praised Singapore for its cleanliness. She also said that people in Singapore are friendlier and have better manners.
In regards to Mulan, she thanked everyone for appreciating her performance in the serial, and she is glad that she had this opportunity to perform in such a good serial. She continued that she has also appeared in many other shows, and hopefully they will be shown in Singapore soon.
There's a discussion about the wedding plan, and Anita replied that there was too much pressure so they decided to leave it at that for now. When they are actually getting married, she assured that they will tell everyone.
This year, she'll continue to be in Mainland China for the majority of the time. Hopefully, if she has time, she'll come to Singapore to visit everyone.

His name is Suen Hing who accompany with Anita working in three series SOD, Cute Girl and Mulan. They are good friends and Suen Hing treat Anita as his own younger sister. I learn from Fans in Taiwan that once when they promote the Cute Girl in Taiwan, Suen Hing even let Anita to sit on his shoulder because Anita complained that she could not see the for there are so many people surrounding them. So sweet!
