| how do you use an mpc with the ASR 10, i hooked them up VIA midi cable and did everything but it still doesent work! I want to get it so i can play the drums on the mpc and then have the asr 10 simulaneously recording them, so i can then sequence them. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

dude i had the exact same problem and to tell you the truth i never got them to work via midi. But what i do is i just make a drum sequence on the mpc and then sample it through the ASR. You can try the midi shit but i literally put like 15-20 hours into it with no results. I just do the sampling thing and it works fine, cause you can just loop the shit on the asr, and use those killer effects, good luck buddy. |

In my opinion the MPC sequencer absolutely demolishes the ASR sequencer. I use the MPC to sequence my whole studio. Its rock solid and i love it! |

You can use the ASR as the master use(midi out)to your(midi in) on the MPC and have it slave to the ASR. Set the MPC to sync to midi clock. Set the MPC to an unused midi channel, or omni off,or disable track info. When you press play or stop this will trigger the MPC to stop or play. | |
