scsi drive for asr-10 and mpc4000

Can ne one help me out here...i gota scsi interface for the asr-10 a while ago but dont have any drive yet...i have a mpc4000 and im hopin to be able to sample drums into the asr-10 and then load them on the mpc sum how.is this possible??

the best way would be to connect your scsi to the asr 10 and trigger your ASR 10 samples from your MPC 4000. Connect the 2 via midi homie - That way you get the best of both worlds, all those sweet fx roms and gritty sampling of the ASR and sequencing that you dont need a degree in mathematics to figure on the MPC.

yo thanx for the help man..yeah i taught about this way..it sounds easier but im just thinkin after copin d mpc for 2g's i wuz hopin to use it for more than just the sequencer...like i like the flters on it.specially the triple filter wiv the eq+....n im more used ta it...are the layerin n filters n eq's n all better on the asr-10 better?? n if i still wana load the drums sampled on the asr into the mpc is this the way its done..thanx alot for the help..

i hear you - but why double your workload by sampling on the asr and then put them in the mpc? experiment between the asr and mpc with sampling certain sounds - some things will work/sound better on one rather than the other - the asr has some crazy effects roms. going through a long process of sampling on one and then exporting could stifle your creativity - it would mine.
