Hello, I've just bought second-hand Ensoniq EPS16+ and I've found following problem with aftertouch sensitivity:
On black keys aftertouch works pretty well, but on white keys it works ok only when keys are pressed in the middle of them, where are keys narrow, between the black keys.
If I press the white keys at common place, they emit aftertouch only slightly and only with really hard pressure, but never more then one tenth of full range...
Does anyone have any clue if and how this could be easily fixable?
Any experiences? Or maybe some old service documentation?
Or maybe this is not the right forum to ask, do you know about some active Ensoniq EPS forum?
I've got some issues with mine as well. If I want aftertouch I have to REALLY wail down on the keys, with such force that it feels like im going to break the damn things. I pretty much just avoid using it for the most part.
