I used to own one of these samplers back in the early 90's. I had $5000 invested into it with a scsi interface, CD-ROM, HD, a few CD's (at $200 a piece), pedals.....it was my FAVORITE toy. I got screwed into a $1500 phone bill and had to part with my baby to make good with the phone company. I just won a bidding on Ebay for an ASR10 and it's being shipped from Sacramento California. I can't wait till it gets here. I used to know that machine inside and out. I could do ANYTHING on it. I hope it all comes back to me once I start playing it. I downloaded the manual in PDF format, so I'll be able to look anything up.
Only bad thing, is I need an IMPOSSIBLE to find SCSI kit for my new board. Unless I find a SCSI kit on Ebay, I doubt I'll ever get my hands on one. I think I'll just have to end up buying another ASR with the SCSI already in it. Oh well....2 ASR's never hurt anyone.....Cept maybe their pocket book. :P
No thanks. As luck would have it.....I DID find a SP-3 SCSI kit for my ASR10 on eBay. My board is maxed out with everything except the Digital I/O board. Good lookin' out though. Appreciate it.
