on my ASR-10...when i record a sample, it plays on the keys fine...but when i record the sample into a sequence, when i play it back, its either just a bunch of fuzz , or something that i never sampled into my ASR...just something random on the record...Note: when the needle is off the record its just fuzz when i play back the sequence...but when it s on the record its something random

so...somehow when i hit recordandplay its sampling the signal coming in...its just really fukked up! and im pissed

now evry time i sample i have 2 save the sample to a disk...then make the beat...it's anooying and wasting my floppy's and shit

Don't quite understand...

Not quite sure I understand what you mean. Ok, you can sample something and play it as an instrument without any problems right? But when you record a sequence and use the track that your sample is on something wrong happens?

While you're recording the track with your sample on it, does it play your sample correctly WHILE recording? Is it only messed up when you go to play it back?

If you can explain more clearly and in more detail, I may be able to help. How long has it been acting up? My first impression is that your RAM might be either going bad or misconfigured with the wrong jumper settings.

You CANNOT have 3 MB of RAM. Only 5 different configurations are possible. 2MB, 4MB, 8MB, 10MB or 16MB. If you have 3 MB installed.....that's your problem. you can only have the configurations I listed, and for each one you have to have specific jumper settings to let the ASR-10 KNOW how much RAM is installed.

I would recommend buying 16 MB of RAM and I'll send you (via E-mail) the ASR-10 Manual in PDF format which explains exactly how to install the RAM and what jumper settings to use.

You can find the RAM on eBay.
