MPC-1000 using with my ASR-10

Been thinking of buying an Akai MPC-1000 for drums. Is it possible to use the ASR-10 and the MPC-1000 together via midi? I want that MPC sound for drums, but still using my ASR-10 for samples, basslines, sequencing etc. Thanks!
