mpc 200xl...midi...asr-10

i got a mpc 2000xl and a asr-10....i want to midi them two together, i want the mpc to do the main recording and sequencing. ive been trying to figure this thing by myself but damn its hard and confusing.Can anyone let me know how to do this???
