Hi,

I have 2 ASR10 for sale > 1 keyb. and 1 Module + many Accessories
Zip, syquest removables, and CD rom drives (all SCSI)+ patch pedals, patch bays, Ensoniq sample CD's, output expansion and Rubber Ch Co software!
Now...
An eventual buyer asks me if it is possible to work with a SCSI- HDD and what is the maximum Gigabyte amount that is supported, or is there no limitation?
Or easier, can he use a 40Gig SCSI Lacie HDD with an ASR-10?

Many thanks
Jeff

Nope, new HD = newer SCSi standard. The ASR is picky about the HD, things like "low voltage diferential" wont do. Best are the older HDs with caps roud about 1GB or less. But the is no guarantee. Get a bunch of HDs from a trash bin and see which one will do
