i have this sample that i recorded into my asr10, and the drums in it are really fuckin up the beat, and making it sound off time...the only way i know how to make the drums a little lower is to put a low filter on the sample, but doesnt help much, and makes it sound like crap...i know this has been asked many times be4, but how do i take the drums out of a sample a different way!??
its been done before on the asr10 with plenty of songs i know

Low filter? Huhh ... I suppose you're rather using a high pass filter. Use the one of highest order and you will get rid of the base drum -- if it's a one without klick or noise. Try to ressample through the equalizer effect with adequate settings. Anyhow, this will not give you a good result. There is no way to eliminate a specific instrument from a sample completely. So what you're actually looking for?

There are tricks but there aren't magic spells

The primary filter setting on the ASR needs to be press directionally down TWICE, then you will hear almost all bass removed. At that point, you can decrease the RIGHT-HAND VALUE from 150 downward to re-introduce the bass accordingly.

Let me know if this makes sense. If not, I will boot up my ASR and give exact directions.

i would recomend using pro tools if you have it, there are a lot of plug ins that would definatley help you do that way better then an ASR-10. But its going to be damn near impossible to make it sound perfect like the drums where never there, if you dont have pro tools just filter and EQ the fuck out of it, and if you are really desperate and nothing works hire studio musicians to replay that shit for ya, then you dont even have to clear the sample!!!!!!
