Slight tempo-hiccup between bars?

I used the ASR-10's sequencer to make a basic 4/4 house beat (i.e. four kick attacks and four offbeat hi-hat attacks), then quantized it, but now there is a tempo-hiccup or sluggishness as the transition is made from kick #4 to kick #5.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

Please note that all of my samples are perfectly truncated and the sequence was quantized properly, including when I look in detail using EVENT EDIT.

I was waiting for someone to come up with this problem. lol

Basically, for some odd reason, a small "hit" of a sample is added at the very end of a sequence. Go to "event edit track", then use the slider to fast forward to the very end of the sequence. The last note will be on the 96th beat or something like that. just delete that event. sometimes there will be more than one sound on that same beat.

also, if you are using a sample that goes the entire length of the sequence, go to "event edit" again, then adjust the duration of the sample so that it lasts the entire 4 bars. You'll see when you get to that event that the length may be something like "3 bars 74 beats" Just use the slider to extend 74 beats out to 00, and change "3" to 4, so that it reads a length of "4 bars 00 beats"
