I just got an asr 10 off ebay that was supposed to be in perfect condition with everything working.
When i went to sample i was using the left input and noticed that sound level on the screen was always at full even though the levels on the lights (green and red) changed with the volume of what i was sampling. Even when i change the input level and when theres no sound coming through it is still at full.
so when i hit enter to sample it started right away because since the level was at full it was past the threshold that initiates sampling. when i stopped it it asks to hit the root key and i do. But when i go to play the sample its just a weird pop sound that lasts about a second.
I then tried to use the right input to sample and everything worked fine.
My question is what do you guys think could be the problem?
also, does anyone know what the deal is with being able to return stuff on ebay if the item was misrepresented? Like do i tell ebay before a certain amount of time?
