Here it is. I have one instrument with a sample chopped on 2 keys. I then have another sample in the same instrument assigned to another key. I have the 2 key sample being trigged by my MPC60. I wanted to know if it is possible to play the other sample that's located on the one key without it being cut off by the 2 samples being trigged already. Or do I have to assign the 1 sample to another instrument? Thanks.

that sounds like you have reached the max polyphony on your MPC. for instance, maybe on 8 sounds can be played at the exact same time. I think that's the polyphony on the ASR, only like 8 keys can be pressed/played simultaneously. You may be able to change the polyphony setting on the MPC, but unfortunately i don't know diddly-squat about MPC's. Good luck.

Are you f***ing serious?! You really think the polyphony for the ASR-10 is 8? You think this legendary machine which is still used in studios today has a polyphony of 8? You should give your ASR-10 away to someone who knows what it's capable of, because obviously you don't know diddly-squat about IT either.

relax man, I'm just posting this stuff from memory. I'm not here to get into arguments with you guys. It could be 8, it could be 800. All I know is, I've had a lot of sequences where I had too many samples triggered at the same time, and at one point, some were cut off.

I have over 16 years of experience with Ensoniq samplers, so I do know what I'm talking about.
