hey all ...

I am new to the asr10 game, and I have two questions.

1. If I record a a sequence with instrument_A using effect_A as its inst effect, when I go to record a second part with instrument_b using effect_b, the whole sequence now plays with effect_b. what's up with that? how can I make the sequence run each of its instruments through its own effects.

2. sequence timing. if I am recording a sequence .. and I press the stop button at slightly the wrong moment .. say at 3.5 beats of a 4 bar loop .. will the asr stretch that to a 4 bar loop?

thanks,
matt

1. it's an old board. The best you are gonna be able to do is find an effect that has 4 variations. Use edit effects to assign either to: A: certain samples, or B: a certain instrument.

2. Yes.

what do you mean by 4 variations? can you create your own effects by putting some of the standard effects together? ie. reverb and distortion?

There are STOCK effects that have more than one effect contained in that effect. For ex.) 44k-verb-delay-eq: that effect has three effects in one (reverb, digital-delay, and eq).

check the effectnumbers 10-13
that are combinations of:

Chorus+Rev+DDL
Comp+Dist+Rev
Dist+Chorus+Rev

and there are some other combinations.
