I was trying all ways and I am reading only "ERROR", "ERROR", "ERROR" ... EPSDisk write "could not expand the files", EDE109 write "drive controller error" ... Terrible !!! I have many of samples in .EFE, .EDA and .GKH format on my PC HDD and cannot write no floppy for my new (old) ASR-10. Help me, please !

Can you format & write floppies on your ASR?

If you ASR seems to be OK, try to create a floppy of capacity 1440 kb on the PC. Use the "t" command of ... (EPSDISK.EXE? don't remember).

If this doesn't help, format a floppy "PC style" on your ASR. Goto your PC and try do add intruments.

Do you use Lunux? There's a tool distributed as "asr10-1.0.tar.gz" which is smarter than the DOS scrap. Google will find it somewhere.

I experienced a lot of ASR ERROR crashes with non-ASR content too.

Hi, Haro, thanx for your interess. My ASR is OK, format and write floppies is OK, copy OS from original floppy to another one is OK too.
When I create floppy on the PC using the EPSDISK, ASR accept this disk as formated. When I create PC style floppy on the ASR, my PC not accept this and write "disk is not formated. Maybe Windows XP is the problem, has not the same floppy format as Windows 98 - I don't no. This Linux tool had I download and will attempt it. When have you yet other Idea, write me, please..
Thanx
