i want the ASR to be the main sequencer, controlling the sound module (which is a Roland MV-5080, by the way)... how to set it up cable-wise and what are the midi options (on ASR)

read the manual man, work it out for yourself. I guarantee you'll feel really good once you have acheived something by yourself. All the info is in the manual. If you cant understand the manual, sell the ASR and get something simpler.
