Quite a simple question I hope!

I've got an instrument full of drum samples and have recorded the kick on a sequence. I want to record a snare on top but it over writes the kick - is there a way to add to the sequence instead of replace?

I believe it is EDIT - SEQUENCE and then tab to the right or left with the arrows and it gives you the options to ADD or REPLACE in the sequences.
