for those who have dealt with this guy, do you swear by him? what's your experience with him? any money or shipping problem? etc.

My ASR-10 was purchased in july of this year from a guy who had about a $1,000 USD worth of work done by them. No midi, just audio. He said that before he sent it to theSoniq.com, if he tried to sample it would be unusable. They fixed it.

There is a distinctly loud buzz that comes from the power supply
I can hear it out of the headphones a little.
I think that they are ever so slightly there in the main outs, yet so faint that when I track in beats it is literally undetectable(believe me i checked thoroughly) Basically the only way you can hear the buzz is if you put your head right next to the power supply-like I said before, more of a nuisance than anything.
I know that the person who it belonged to before me barely ever used it so...
Maybe it's always been shite.
Bottom line i have no problems sampling/resampling.

p.s. if any body got any ideas on my buzzy power supply holla

Open it up and try tightning it up..........If you push down on the suply with a dry cloth when its on you willl notic it stops buzzing

I just sent my to him two months ago or so. Sent it back and it was in perfect working order.

i had trouble understanding him on the phone, (i think he is asian) but the work he did was good and pretty cheap considering ensoniq being defunct and all.

i had my left audio input replaced.

I think he is asian, because when he wrote me an e-mail, his english was abit broken but it was still readable, other then that, nothing but good things from him and his work?
