how do you use an asr 10 effect and only apply it to one wav or instrumental?

Instead of it applying the effect to all instruments?

I could never quite figure it out

any work arounds?

resample that wav with the effect on it it is on the sample input change it to the effects in, instead of your normal line/mic in

route the instrument or sample to bypass the fx (usually output 3) in the amp section.
