Hi,

i have a ASR10 with SCSI and a Adaptec AHA 2940 PCI SCSI adapter with the right cable.

Can someone please tell me how to make this connection. the asr 10 has a scsi. I want to connect my asr to the adaper so i can upload .efe files directly from my hard drive. I make this files with awave studio. Is it possible to make a scsi connection with my computer hard drive using a aha 2940 adapter. I installed aspi drivers. Do i have to use some kind of software to do this.

The adapetrs scsi id is set on no 7, but when i try to change the storage device and to set it scsi device no 7 it is a "unconnected scsi device"

I don't understand how this protocol works, this is completly new for me.

Greets

Hello - you might start by reading this:

http://ensoniqsamplers.com/epsasr/015.html

Basically, it states that you cannot do direct-to-ASR file transfers. A better route is to get one of our MCDISK card reader drives - it will allow you to easily move files from your PC to your ASR using a Compact Flash card. You can see the drive here:

Email me if you have any questions about how you would use this drive to move your files between the PC and ASR.
