Everytime I have that itch to sell my ASR-10 I just watch this video

I have a confession
just couple days ago this guy offers me his Akai MPC3000 for my Ensoniq ASR-10 (plus abit of cash)
thought about it................thought about it some more
finally made my final decision and said........................ NO THANKS
the reason why this itches me is because when I was making a gear decision it was between the Akai MPC3000 & the Ensoniq ASR-10 (note this was my first real purchase/equipment)
I don't know why I have that urge
I'm not a gearlust by the way
I like to work with one thing & once I find my way around it
I stick with it

so whenever I feel like selling my Ensoniq ASR-10 I just watch this video

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=6347536

I don't do hiphop but this guy just takes full advantage of his ASR-10

enjoy

Yo that ish is mad gay son! You said in the other post you barely had ur jumpoff for a few weeks! hahaha! how many itches could u have possibly had in that amount of time? 2 things; 1. it's a no brainer how much more expensive a 3K is than an ASR, even if you hated the 3K u still coulda sold it back and bought no less than 2 fully loaded ASR's. 2. All jake one did in the video was play single notes of instruments he sampled into a sequence, so that beat he made woulda sounded the same, no matter what machine he used - fat cry from "taking full advantage" of the ASR

Actually, he said a 3K + $ $ $ !!!

I'm not even a hustler bloke, but I'd have taken "full advantage" of that deal
