I want to install a scsi sp-3 in my asr, but in the service manual it says you have to use a ohmmeter??? before install the card.
I donīt understand about it and donīt know how to use the ohmmeter.

Can somebody tell me how to use it ? Any other advice about how to install the sp-3 would be appreciated too.

thanks.
Nacho.

I cannot answer that question now but if you can send me a pdf of the SP-3 manual, I'll be able to help you.

Or does anyone else have a scan of the SP-3 SCSI manual they can send me?

I have sent to your support mail the service manual for the asr 10 and asr 88.

Itīs the only manual I have ( I donīt have the sp-3 manual). At service manual it appears a one page guide about how to install and uninstall the sp-3, where appars the "ohmmeter" mention.

I replied via email. I won't bore everyone here with the details of me attempting to explain resistance checking with an ohmmeter.
