Hi all
I have a fully expanded ASR-10m (rack) and have the chance to "upgrade" to the keyboard version. I was wondering if I could keep the expansions and sell the rack, so my question to the ones in the know is:
- Is the SCSI expansion on the rack compatible with the Keyboard?
- (For that matter, is the DI-10 and the multiple outputs expansion also compatible?)
Yes, the SCSI interface board is the same for keyboard or rack. There is only one version. I do not know about compatibility for the DI-10 and the multiple outputs expansion.
No, we don't sell the SP-3. Those haven't been manufactured for many years now and are quite hard to find. You might check with thesoniq.com or look on fleaBay but be prepared to pay upwards of $350.00 USD if you do locate one.
It's actually easier to locate and buy a whole new ASR that already has the SCSI interface installed than it is to find just the interface.
