Cheers fellow asr-10 blokes! got massive amounts of ASR-10 instrument files (trying to use translator free with) but none of them end in " efe ", so I have to manually type it in for each file.

I've got a 3gb of files, so i was wondering if there was a way to do it faster than one at a time.

cheers!

Use a DOS window

You can do that using a DOS window. Open a DOS window and move to the folder/directory where the files are (use CD <foldername> to get there). Once you are there you can batch-rename the files using the following command:

ren .efe

Hope that works

P.S: Backup your 3GB of files before trying anything, just in case...
