Is it possible to boot the asr10 from your scsi cd device? If so could somebody post the link on where to get the os file to burn to cd.

Thanks

I don't think that would work because you cannot format a CD in the right file system format to make it bootable. A sample CD uses a different format than a writable SCSI drive. But to be 100% sure, call Chicken Systems and ask Garth.

Writing OS 2 CD w/Translator

Yea Translator says it 'can' do this...but that u shouldn't.

I asked Garth about this once, and he confirmed the above - said something about CD Rom's Direct Dial/Macros thingy's getting in the way, and that it's best not to do it.
