I make all my beats on a ASR-10 keyboard. My Pro Tools setup is somewhere else so i got an ASR-10 rack recently so i could track the beats into Pro Tools without lugging my keyboard around every time.
I dump a two track of the beat into Pro Tools using the midi out on my DIGI002 connected directly to the ASR Midi in, record the song, then use the same method later on to track the beat on individual passes.
When I used to track using my keyboard, everything was fine, but using the rack something strange is happening: the beat isn't syncing up at all. My loops and drums end up off, not synced up at all.
Does anybody know what may be happening?
Thanks in advance...

you will have to create "presets" before you save the sequence(s) and then save as a bank file as well.
the presets will keep all of the little edits that you make in the original samples. this infomation is saved into the sequence file. The bank file will load each sample into the proper instrument location. you should be set after you get this down.
creating a preset and saving a bank are in the command instrument function.
