My ASR-10 stopped working yesterday. When I turn the power on, the signal and peak leds flash, but it doesn't start to load the operating system. The display shows nothing.

Has anyone any idea what might be the cause of this? PSU? Motherboard? Sending it to LA for repair would cost about as much as a new one.

do you at least get to the asr 10 splash screen before it goes blank.

you can check the memory by switching positions to see if the error changes.
if you take the bottom cover off, you can check the fuses with an ohm meter.
they should all be shorted. if one is open, you will need to find out what caused it to blow.

try the memory first then keep us posted.

lastly, where are you located.
