just got a scsi hard drive for my asr 10 and it is loaded with o.s. 3.53 but i only have a disk 3.0 for my asr. do i need a 3.53 disk to use the scsi hard drive
If the hard drive has os 3.53 on it (or any os for that matter), you will be able to boot directly from that on power up and will not need to boot from a floppy disk any longer. The ASR will always try to boot from any attached SCSI drives on power up and failing that, will boot from the floppy.
