1987 Mitsubishi Starion unfinished project. Very reluctant sale of this iconic car. ONLY for sale due to loss of garage space. ALOT of work has been carried out on this car and will make an Excellent winter project.
I have carried out alot of work on the car which includes: welding inner wheel arches, striping, painting and undersealing all the wheel arches, fitting Goodridge hoses on the front brakes, fitting adjustable Koni shocks to the front struts, fitting a set of lowering springs. The interior has been removed to help aid with the welding and to remove the side spoilers ready to paint. The rear arches are in good condition some work is required but they are not the usual rusty mess. Generally the body work is very good and there is no glass sunroof. The car is in its original and rare silver paint.
The car was running when i bought it and is fitted with a Cosworth T3 Turbo. Unfortunatlly the Turbo was worn. So i had the turbo rebuilt at a cost of £360 this included some modifications to improve the Turbo to make more power. This has not been fitted and has been dry stored. I also bought an excellent front air dam/splitter which has NO DAMAGE!!! If you know Starions you will know this is rare!!! Also included is a new genuine Mitsubishi timing belt, drilled airbox with K & N Filter, a chipped ECU by Hensted Motorsport.
Unfortunatly there are a couple of bits missing, the exhaust system (i was going to buy a stainless system either from the States or Powerflow) the water radiator and the left hand rear spoiler!! (dont ask!!)
All in this is an excellent project with some valuable spares and would make a special, unusual and fast car. I have some paper work with the car old MOT's a couple of bills and an owners booklet. Sorry iam not prepared to Break the car it will be sold complete. I MIGHT be able to deliver at a cost!!
