RX7 injectors

aiight guys, need a lil help. i got some 440cc rx7 injectors. i know you can modify the manifold to make them work. does anyone have any pics they can post up so i can see exactly how they had them mounted? i know you have to drill out the bung in the manifold to fit the sprayin part of the injector in the bung . do you use the black clips to screw em in? any pics or advice will help. you guys are the best. thanks!

Hey dude, dont drill the manifold out. You dont need to. Just remove the spintle cap (the plastic cap at the end) and they fit straight in. You have to use two rubber seals around the tip of the injector if it doesnt push against the manifold properly.

Also, are you sure they are RX7 injectors? RX7 injectors are 550cc. You may have GTR injectors which are 444cc though mst people simply refer to them as 440cc injectors. Either way, 440cc are a definate improvement over the 370cc injectors of the FJ20ET.

i know most rx7, the 13b twin turbo injectors are 550, but i bought this off ebay, guy said the were from a rx7, but they were 440. the spintle cap won't come off(i think). i have heard of some people modifying something. does anyone have any pics i can look at though? thanks for help

Hi,

Ive recently gone through this whole ordeal, dont worry, quite simply fixed.

All you have to do is cut the pintle cap down, enuff so that the seal is still on the cap, the rest of the cap can be cut away. The little bit of the cap remaining is so that the seal has something to sit on. They fit fine then mate.
