It'l fit easy as dude. Crazy people ("nice crazy" that is) put these suckers into 1200 utes so they will fit easy into your huge-ass 200B. Do it and be very very happy!

immediate mods to it would be a 3inch turbo back exhaust system, cold air intake and or intercooler. wat u reckon the power would be roughly?

Think very hard about the crude suspension on those things before starting a big dollar conversion . The live rear axle and location (4link) is very limited and not a performance option . H190 Bliubird rear ends are very heavy (counterproductive for handling) and LSD's almost non existant . Good brakes expensive to impliment on a 200B .
I would prefer to do this to a stripped out MR30 Skyline because everything bolts or plugs in meaning no expensive conversion bits and ease of fit . Cars ex Japan have much better fit and finish and components of far better quality than local manufacture . The only hard to find bits are the 4 cyl dash and front cross member . If you get a front cut it all falls in . A DR30 will kill any live axle 200B for handling and will weigh about the same with a bit of effort .
Actually for the money involved why not just buy the DR30 , they turn heads and are a genuine piece of motorsport history here in Australia .
Cheers DP03 .

first of all i'm guessing its a 4-door 200B.

if you want rear end, go borg warner outa an r31 skyline. can get lsd centres no probs. (VL Commodore too)
get one from wrecker (non-lsd) as low as $ 100 cut-down cost $800 at the least.

sounds like he's more interested in draggin than circuit dude so i dont think he'd be too worried bout the handling.

stock fj you would be lookin 14-13sec 1/4 mile.

also i love my fj's but an sr is an even easier conversion into a 200B. so if you have that option and are keeping the motor stock look at that option.

hope that helps,
alex
