yeh hey just wanting to use the factory oil presure gauge in my dato1600, the fj20 has a 2pin oil presure sender or switch? im guessing one side goes to ground and the other is either a variable resistance across the switch or sender to that ground, either turning off an oil light or variateing the oil presure gauge as it changes... anyone know for sure?

Mine only had one terminal on the sender... Oil pressure is oil pressure as far as I know,so you should be able to use any sender you like,as long as the gauge will read it ok.

When you say "factory gauge", do you mean oil pressure light? Yes, the FJ oil pressure sender unit has two pins - one is just an "off / on" earth for the factory oil pressure light, and the other is a variable resistor type of earth for the factory oil pressure guage.

As to which one which - I am not sure. Let me know if you want me to find out (not that it would be too hard to work out - the guage will either work or it won't, so plug it onto the other one...)
