I'm looking for a head gasket kit for an FJ20, i took my car to the mechs and they told me to start looking for one and i was wondering where i can find them, he said probably only from japan but i thought i'd post it on here anyway.

A head gasket will set you back just under $100.

Nissan have always been able to get gaskets for me.

I got a complete VRS kit for mine through Nissan, so its possible to get things still

are you located in the states or australia? if you do a google search for the FJ20, there is a datsun performance site, i think its 510 again or nickle and dime quarterly, that sells a complete gasket set for the FJ(everything you'd ever need) for like 220 US.

i'm located in Perth, so will have to get it shipped over from the east... or japan...

A company called permaseal does a vrs and a head gasket seperate,any local parts shop including repco can get these and they are CHEAP.

I got a complete gasket kit Minus the head gasket for $200 from SWR a couple of months ago...

I live in the states and had a copper gasket made by a guy named Lani he makes them in assorted thicknesses and are priced around $80.00 shipping is probably more for over seas but that was my price shipped to my door here is his email address and phone number he is a great guy to deal withand very fast I had my gasket in around 3-4 days of placing the order

Sorry Ive been on holiday for two weeks so I havent replied,head gasket part number is permaseal BN680 and valve stem seals are HR601 wich are the same as a E15 motor .The company is called AA gaskets and are in melbourne They are considering doing a vrs set but need more demand so inquire and though shall recieve.

Yeah, Lani ships his copper gaskets to Australia. Just tell him that it is for an FJ20, your bore size and the thickness that you want. I spoke with him the other day - he said that shipping to Australia is about $20 US.
