hey ppls i just been runnin in my fj, in 180bsss and after punching it through 1st, 2nd, and abit of 3rd(NOT THE FIRST TIME IV DONE THIS) something happened. my revs went up to 1600rpm. and a whinning sound was comming from around the front of the motor. near dizzy. please if anyone could help me casue at the moment im at the piont of wanting to sell it cause its cost me too much. thanks for ur help

The high revs could be from a vacume leak? The idle air by-pass hose came off (down under the inlet manafold) my FJ once and being night time,a quick look in the bay didn't reveal anything at first. Don't know about the whine though...

Intake manifold gasket dude.

spent ages trying to find same situation in mates car.
