im chacing a remote oil filter set up with a built in thermostat for the fj..

anyone know where to get one from.. iv been to a few "speed" shops and no one has anythign

try rocket industries,get a part number then any autoshop should help.tell them it takes a z9 ryco(ford) filter should be easily available

z9 ryco the same as the fj20 filter??

iv always used a Z170 filter.. the Z9 the same thread and seal size etc???

What about just using an inline thermostat with your remote filter and cooler.
Simple, straightforward and importantly, failsafe.
Available at any speed shop such as Revolution Race Gear.
