Anyone on here own the white S3 bluebird with FJ20 getting the SMC installed by scotty??

didnt go good on the dyno actually ...

10psi @ 5000 rpm, 18psi @ 7500 rpm and finally makes 20psi at 8500 rpm and anywhere from 21-26 at 9500 rpm ... when it should be making 28psi @ 5000-5500 rpm

either turbo is stuffed or bad boost leak somewhere ... pain in the arse but i dont mind wheelspin starting at 8500 rpm in 3rd haha (140 km/hr)

hold up... we are definately talkin an FJ in a bluey here running some big boost and huge revs??? gimme details! im revin my FJ bluey to 7500 but am concerned to rev any higher... what have you done for the oil pump??

sorry no the bluebird FJ20 was just getting an autronic SMC installed at Insight ... it was my other car that was on the dyno not revving hard enough or making enough boost

FWIW ... i was talking to scott about his FJ stanza ... 9.4's with standard rods is pretty impressive. He said his last time after lightening the car was 2 tenths or so quicker out of the hole and was well on its way to running a flat 9 or high 8 ... before the rod went out the block ...

640 or so rwhp though it would want to fly

I HAD MY WHITE FJ20 S3 BLUEBIRD IN THERE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, BUT ONLY FOR A TUNE. MUST BE ANOTHER ONE

I was in there today...it's still there on the hoist.

did scotty convince him to do any more work? or still a basic stock setup?
