"does the fj 20 run a inlet air temperature sensor?"
not sure but you can buy one from microtech. $15 from memory. 2 wire. Connects to the black signal wire from ecu and brown earth wire. They will be labelled.

"if i do not have one will the microtech air temperature function defualt to off?"
no. an error code will be displayed and the red light will flash. however it will read as ZERO and therefore no fuel adjustments will occur based on air temp.

"also the auxiliary output white wire? what does this wire go to? does it need to be used? i am usuing a lt8 computer.......any help much appreciated"
No it doesnt have to be used. It can be assigned via 3 things. Water Temp, Map or RPM.

Water temp option is used as thermo fans and is what the white wire is most commonly used for!

MAP ie vacuum boost switch. eg. boost light like 80 model cars or perhaps 10 neons under the car that come on when you hit 30psi boost hahaha

RPM switch for say SHIFT light

It has to go to a 12V relay switched by IGN 12V ... ie. the white wire earths the circuit
