Hallo...
If I accelerate up to about 6500-7000rpm, the engine makes a ugly metallic sound! Sounds like the something metallic scratch direct on some other metallic thing.. But only at high RPM.. the rest are normal sound.
Valve float?
Oil problems?

No i dont think so..? The rattling sound from the chain is not that metallic as this sound!
And i have the mazda tensioner, and a high cover.
I dont now..
I think it has ben like this for a long time.
At what rpm should the valve float start?

Valve float is apparantly a real harmonics sound, depending on your boost level will depend on when valve float kicks in. Ive never had valve float so i cant be sure, this is what ive been told.

I've heard stock boost, stock motor valve bounce at 7500.
UP the boost but don't rev it as hard, 6500 is stock max power rpm.
What is the timing doing?
