Differences between stock cams

Guys.

I was looking up the back of the spares shelf the other day, and pulled down a couple of what I think are stock cams.
They're entirely different, one has oil holes in the lobes, one does not.
They both have stock (8.5mm) lift, however the lobe profile is drastically different. I havent measured duration, however just looking at them they look the same, however one has steep ramps and a long flat top, the other has more mild ramps and not so much flat.

Any clues? Would Nissan have changed profiles, but kept the advertised duration and lift the same between the early and late engines?

Graph em up Tim and let us know. One could be inlet, one exhaust from a turbo motor ? My latest turbo grinds have same duration in and ex, but lots more area under the exhaust curve, which is very similar to what you're talking about.
