Hey I am looking at buying a Keas Jatco Tranny, to fit up to the ol' FJ,
has anyone else bought one of these?

Do anyone know what bellhousing is used to fit a Jatco to the FJ20?

Is it true a automatic FJ20 bellhousing is an exact match to the VL Jatco box?

Have I just answered my own question?

I am in the process of having one built by BMS.I dont think the bellhousing from a vl jatco bolts straight up.

you may have to elongate the top 2 holes as thats what you have to do to get an RB manula box behind an FJ, I guess they would be the same

I have a keas jatco 3 speed behind my z18, as I understand it you can use an L series belhousing as I did although the belhousing needed to be rotated and re drilled to fit.

You wont be disapointed with the tranny either it was the best money I have spent on the car. I am looking at running the car this weekend at Heathcote hoping for a low 12 if not a high 11.
