I found that a pulley off one of Toyota's M series was a very close match.Holes had to be slotted very slightly to make it fit on.Was smaller than the FJ's one,and had a double V for the belts.Cant remember what I got it off though.I'm sure it was an M...maybe 7M? I know it's not a solution but might get you by...

Sorry mate, mine's all packed away in the shed. From memory you couldn't make one any bigger than stock as it was nearly touching the crank pulley...so there's a rough dimention?

haha...yup, its true that can't make it bigger...ok ...maybe thats a rough dimension of the pulley..
correct me if i'm wrong but if the water pump pulley were to be a slight smaller in size wouldn't it be better?

Depends what you're doing with the car.If you will be operating it at high RPM a lot of the time them bigger=better as it will generate less cavatation. Smaller puller will=more RPM's of the water pump for a given engine speed.

guys,

i recently managed to get my hands on a fully built fj20e built by nissan and was in a s12 rally car.the engine is totally in perfect condition and came with many interesting bits.
Specs of the engine internals:

race cams
oversized forged pistons
veernier cam gears
ported on the intake side.exhaust looks standard
45mmdcoe webers
polished intake manifold..originally came with the engine.don't look like a fabricated one.
aluminium crank and water pump pulley
polished ,lightened and balanced crankshaft and conrods

well...thats wht i could see from the outside with the camcover off.
any idea wht kind of output this engine would be producing.?

anyway, question is, i have a fj20et deturboed.Any ideas on swapping parts and getting this fj20e rally engine better or should i just refurbish the fj20e and use the other fj20et as spare? Also, to wht i managed to see through the opened valve ,the forged pistons are dished, low compression?
seriously need opinions and ideas here...

Was going to say that 6 cylinder L series pulleys go straight on though are smaller . This is because the FJ's water pump is an L6 one turned upside down .

I would not go down the N/A rally tuned one for road . Cammy cranky noisy hard to live with on a daily basis . You can easily make more and better power in mild turbo form .
