A couple quick fj20et questions.June 29 2007 at 12:05 PM No score for this post | Waldo (no login) from IP address 68.148.103.224 |
| Here goes'
What should the timing be set at?
How should the throttle position sensor be set?
Can anyone find me nissan part numbers for my brake pads? (1983 DR30 rsx)
Does anyone know of fuel injectors the are the same style but slightly larger. Stockers are 370cc, low impedance, top feed, hose tails.
And finally, I live in canada and have a bitch of a time finding info about my car so if amyone has a good link for a place in australia that would sell a service manual for my car, can you please share?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry to mention ^^^^^
Timing can be set between 10 and 25 deg. depending on how your trigger disc in the crank angle sensor has been fazed.

In factory trim (emissions) the base timing is 19 deg BTDC .
Front brake pads are the same as some of the early Nissan Navara/Pathfinder's , the ones that used the same Sumitomo 60mm piston caliper and 22mm thick disc . The actual floating part of the caliper is identical but its carrier has shorter legs .
Take your old pads to a brake specialist because good ones have a book with all the backing plate profiles in life size . I used the 4WD grade pad either Ferodo or Bendix , can't remember which . I have posted the exact type and part number a couple of times over the years at this site . |
