Thanks Sam. Keep on looking and please let me know as soon as you find it and how much you wont for it.
Hey Vaughan i am just waiting on Sam to see if he can find one if he doesn't have one How much is your coil worth and how much for postage. I live in Shepparton, Vic 3630.
Thanks Guys,

Aftermarket. At first I used an MSD coil with the stock ignition but then I upgraded to an MSD 6AL. That means I have a stock FJ coil and chip up for grabs. Free if you want to pay for shipping. (I'm all the way over in Canada) Let me know.

Hey Pete, not sure on postage cost, I'm away at work at the moment but I'm back in Perth on Wednesday next week so if u are still looking I'll find out then as I gotta send of some other **** anyway. As for coils I run a multi bosch set up with a Wolf ECU.

Why would you want to use an at least 20 year old coil and trigger? Id be throwing stuff like that in the bin.
Use a Bosch MEC 717 and a Bosch 008 trigger. Cheap, reliable and available anywhere.
Microtech are probably the best value.
Or Repco/Sparco/Petroject....blah blah!

I am after something cheap. I only want one to test if my car will produce spark. I am doing a FJ20ET conversion into a Series 3 Bluebird and have not had the motor running yet. This is the final stage in the conversion and if i can get a hold of a cheap standard coil and wire it up so it works then i can tidy up all the wiring and buy Bosch coil & trigger.

Hey Vaughan
If the coil comes with the ignition module i will take it off your hands. When was it used and does it defiantly work?

Yes coil comes with ign module, as for if it works I can't be 100% sure, but the guy I bought the front cut off used to start it up every cupla months so yeah i guess so.
