I had my FJ rebuilt a few years ago and ever since I started it up, there's been a very loud slapping/rattling/squeeking noise coming from the head. When it was rebuilt I used new valves, springs, chains, etc from SWM. I also invested in a ratchet style tensioner.
I had it rebuilt as soon as I got the engine, so I don't know what it sounded like before, but it just really doesn't sound right.

Any suggestions on what this could be? Or should I just not worry about it?
