r200 into r30

im looking at fitting a hr31 r200 inplace of the r180 and wanting 2know what half shafts 2use. ive looked at z31 300z's but they have the 3pair boltup whereas mine has the 4bolt.

anyhelp would be great, jon.

Get the "3 pair boltup" companion flanges as well. You will not find an R200 shaft that bolts straight up to the original/existing R180 companion flanges.

thanks was thinking about doing that as last resort.

will the z31 shafts be the right length?

there are two bolt patterns for the r200 tailshaft. square and rectangle bolt patterns,
I don't know which cars they came out off though, mines rectangle,
the 180 and 200 both look to be the same length although you'll need to make up a new rear mount or redrill the existing as the fixing into the rear of the diff are different spacings

Yes, Z31 shafts are the right length.
