You can fit r-32 4piston calipers straight on to your 280mm front rotors, the holes in the calipermounts are the same. But,you need to fit hardened washers to the mounts to space the caliper in the centreline of the rotor ( approx 3mm )you will also need new longer m12x1.25 pitch bolts.New brake lines need to be fabricated as the standard ones have a different fitting on the caliper, these cost me approx $130 in stainless steel.Painted up in red, they look fantastic behind a nice set of wheels, the pedal is very firm.We use ours on the track a lot and the common problem of rears locking up disapears completly, use bendex ultima r32 gtr pads ( $ 90 ) and you will have a handy brake upgrade for a resonable cost.I have been running this set up for 3 years now with only a new set of z-31 slotted rear discs and the difference is amazing. When you get your brake pads, approx 10mm must be ground off the top of the pads as when they wear out they will "crown" across the top of the rotor as the pads where designed to fit 290mm rotors not 280mm be very care ful to do this or as your pads wear and they touch your brakes 'wont' work.
This upgrade front and rear cost me approx $600.well worth it..
