| With fuel set to go through the roof the idea of a LPG fed FJ20ET intruiges me. Has it been done before? If anyone has experience with LPG and boost and could lay down some basics it would be appreciated! |

I know a bloke who has done this many times, Does the A-series dizzy conversion then just runs a gas setup. Mainly NA setups, however I have seen 1 supercharged setup come out of his shed but it didn't last very long as the S/C was way too big. |

Hey dude. I also have an FJ20et running gas in my Bluebird. With stock turbo, a small fmic and custom dump pipe I am making 164rwkw on 11psi and about 440nm. |

Ill try and tell you what I know but I let my mechanic sought things out for me so I probably cant provide to much insight sorry.
Basically from the 63l tank
8mm service line
high flow check valve
B2 Converter
Gas Research carb which is a 280 in size
e15 electronic dizzy ( I think )
The GRA carb is more or less bolted directly to the dr plenum chamber which has had all the unnessary holes welded shut ( eg injectors )
The only other mods not to do with the gas are a turbosmart eboost2 controller, CAI with k&n filter, fmic ( also I DR item I beleive ) and a 4 1/2" split dump pipe off the t03.
As far as economy goes, I get around 320km average from the 63l tank but my speedo does read 12kmh slow. Thats driving to the city and back everyday. I have managed to get 370km before and out on the freeways it uses less again but I have never run a complete tank on just freeway driving.
Hope this helps a bit I can try and provide some more info if you need it but Ill probably have to get more indepth detail from my mechanic.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a serial or model number for the GRA carb by chance?
I'm looking into modifying B2 converters, apparently its like going from carbie to injection...? |
