Hey, I'm pretty sure the DR30 front brakes are vented 274x22mm, with the rears being solid 290x10mm (larger than MR30/aussie) with a 15/16" master cylinder.
If you look on this page http://wiki.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?title=Brake_Upgrades_Miscellaneous
it contains a table of brake sizes, from the measurements of the DR30 brakes (referring to fronts) they're equivalent to Import R31 skylines and early Z31. You can look on that page for more info (bearing in mind that it's about R31s but information is still relevant - just that DR30 brakes had 100mm caliper mounts already making upgrades easy)

In short, R32 brakes will be an upgrade over the DR30 items, with the later M-spec 4 spot calipers and 280x30mm rotors being the biggies. That would, I think, mean 16" wheels to fit over the later m-spec brakes. 15" (as mentioned previous, the page refers to R31 stuff) may fit over them.

i am also looking at doing this but i am stuck on the rears. the z32/r32/r33/r34 all had inner drums and the dr30's did not. i heard that z31 84-85 5 lug hubs and axles will bolt in directly to the j-spec dr30's but they still were not designed for inner drum brakes. has anyone actually swapped the rear to r32 brakes? i have heard myths but never actually seen it for my self anywhere online.

ill be using hr31 Aarms complete as they use inner drum handbrakes and redrilled r32/33 rotors slide straight on and with a 2mm hardend washer as spacer the twin piston caliper sits central on the rotor. i also trimed the backing plate around 5mm each side of caliper 2 give clearance. the brakes are fitted up but havent fitted Aarms 2 car yet...

Pretty sure when i did it that 510/610/810/280zx/r30/r31 irs ars all have the same spacing to bolt the arms onto the crossmembers.
They do however have different toe/camber angles aswell as track widths and axle legnths etc.
I used HR31 arms, modified 510 crossmember, Z31 5studs hubs, R32 brakes and custom struts...
Good luck.
