Hello,
The dash lights in my DR30 are on the blink. Sometimes they don't work at all.
sometimes they will be on, then flick off, then on again. When they are not working, a little pot-hole can bring them back to life.
Is this a common problem? I remember my old Bluebird had a similar, inherent problem, was able to be fixed by taking the dash out and soldering some pins...
Any clues?
Cheers,
Sam

Yeah mine does the same thing, when it happens the rear lights also turn off on the car... but the lights still go on when i brake...
Has something to do with the indicator stalk the light switch is on... or so i have been told i have been to lazy to sort out the problem as it doesnt happen much to me.

Ok, thanks guys.
it might be worth changing this stalk then. initially, if i was to turn the lights off, then turn them on real fast-like, they would work - i think i have exhausted this remedy cos i sat one night for about an hour trying to get em on but nothing. Rear lights don't work, that explains the funny looks and 'toots' from other drivers...
It's a real pain in the dickhole. I thought only old Peugeots did this crazy **** lol...
Cheers,
Sam.

Do you think it could be related to the heap of water in my tail light?
Park lights not working either.

I was looking at the tailight assembly, all good there, except I found, off each wiring harness for each tail light, there is a "rogue" light bulb just hanging in the boot. WTF is this? All other bulbs are sercured in the holes. If i cut the bulb off and join the wires together, is that gonna f*** sh**?
Getting the ****s with this crap. Cops are too.
Sometimes, the off side head lamp isn't working, and when the lights are on the high beam globe in the dash is on, but not switched on high beams, nor shining high beams.
Does anyone know of a good auto electrician around Sydney that's good with this ****?
Cheers...
