Hello
I cant really find what turbo to use. I will use the car for drifting and track racing, and I want the car to be really fast! But I want minmal lag, I dont want a drag setup. I first thought of the Gt28rs but I want more power. Around 300-400whp. So what turbo will you advice me to buy?
The GT3071R maybe? Also what AR and trim turbine ?

My engine setup is this: forged pistons, forged H beam rods, steel head gasket, fantacy exhaust manifold, arp racing bearings, new and mildly ported/ polished head, Wolf ECU and 550 injectors.

Thanks

Hey mate

From experience, I recommend the GT3071r. I am currently running this turbo on my fj with simular mods to yours and it makes 272rwkw, 365hp on 23 psi of boost. Lags is absolutely minimal, I'd even go as far as to say that it spools up quicker than the standard turbo set up. If you look up the "twin scroll GT3071r" thread, you'll find all the details of my set up there. I cant speak highly enough of this turbo set up. Its performance on the street is nothing short of amazing. If you live in Sydney and you want proof of its potential just drop me an email and I'd be more than happy to take you for a spin.
Cheers, Orlando
